CloseGauri is Head of Project Finance UK, Middle East and Africa in Siemens Bank. She has more than 20 years of in-depth experience in the energy and renewables sector. She has led deal teams on a number of notable transactions in the UK and Europe ranging across all technologies from wind (onshore and offshore), solar, biomass, WtE, biogas, hydro and complimentary infrastructure including batteries and flexible generation.
She has led on a number of landmark transactions including platform financings for Ventient Energy, Octopus Energy, Greencoat Wind, NTR, LightsourceBP, JPMAM, Saeta Yield, EIP and other clients for multiple technologies to grow cross-border renewable portfolios. These transactions have involved a mix of offtake structures and project pipelines in various stages of development. Gauri is focussed on the energy transition through established technologies but also working on carbon capture and storage, hydrogen and green fuels including decarbonisation of hard to abate sectors.
Prior to joining Siemens, Gauri was Head of Energy at Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management for 3 years, having previously worked in the Project Finance at Natwest (formerly RBS) for 14 years. As a thought leader in the sector she is a regular speaker on panels and at conferences.
Driven by an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for sustainability, David brings over 15 years of experience across renewable energy, digital infrastructure, and high-growth ventures. He leads Greenfield’s vision, strategy, and expansion across the UK, while spearheading the company’s continued growth into key European markets, with a particular focus on the Nordics.
Rimshah Javed is a Principal Originator at a leading commodities trading firm, structuring transactions across power, gas and environmental certificates. Specialising in the power sector and battery storage, Rimshah focuses on deal-making and strategic partnerships that scale flexible, low-carbon assets.
Previously at Arenko, Rimshah led commercial expansion for route-to-market trading and software agreements, growing the portfolio to 3+ GW and launching in four new markets across mainland Europe and the United States.
Earlier in her career, Rimshah worked in corporate banking, arranging short- and long-term debt financing for the power and telecoms sectors. Rimshah is recognised by the World Energy Council as a Global Future Energy Leader.
Silvia is Director of Corporate Finance at Econergy. She has over two decades of experience in capital raising and investment banking, with prior roles in infrastructure and renewables at IFM Investors and Santander Asset Management.
Mark is responsible for Chint Solar’s development of the UK market. He has 20 years background in solar and wind development, financing and construction, in The Netherlands, UK and Australia, and has been a senior manager for over 15 years
Trevor is the CEO of Pulse Clean Energy, a London-based developer and owner of utility-scale battery storage assets. Pulse delivers solutions that reduce energy system costs, decrease emissions, and enhance grid resilience.
With a career spanning North and South America and Europe, Trevor has deep experience in the development, acquisition, and operation of natural gas, wind, solar, hydro, and battery storage facilities across multiple geographies and market structures.
Trevor was involved in the 2022 launch of Pulse, securing a $500 million commitment from the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO). Previously, Trevor led Boost Energy Ventures Inc. and co-founded Valence Energy Capital Corporation. He also held leadership roles at ATCO Ltd., including leading Growth & Acquisitions for its global electricity division.
Trevor holds a B.Sc. in Engineering from the University of Alberta and an M.Sc. in Management (with Distinction) from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Tony has worked in the energy sector for over 30 years. Prior to joining Fidra Energy, he was CFO at West Burton Energy overseeing the establishment of a stand-alone finance function, the refinancing of the business in 2023, and subsequent sale of its operational assets to Total Energies in August 2024.
Tony has also previously held a number of finance leadership roles at Centrica and EPH.
Phil’s experience in energy includes a broad spectrum of projects, ranging from flexible generation, battery storage, solar, geothermal, gas storage and oil and gas, with significant experience on the development and delivery of projects.
As Conrad Energy’s Development Director, he is responsible for driving the origination and development of new generation projects across various technologies. Phil holds an MSc from Oxford Brookes University.
Ben Finnerty has over 17 years of experience in the energy sector, playing a key role in helping ENGIE clients realise their ambitions to become more sustainable and transition their operations to net zero through innovative PPA strategies.
Keila is the Development Director of Electric Land with over 10 years’ experience in utility scale energy generation projects, having successfully delivered over 2GW of projects in the UK.
She is responsible for designing the project origination strategy, overseeing project development activities, market entry design and stakeholder management.
Rimshah is a Senior Originator at Danske Commodities, one of Europe’s largest power and gas trading companies, where she leads battery storage route-to-market across Europe and covers the UK for upstream and downstream power opportunities.
She has experience across startup and institutional energy environments with a proven track record in shaping the storage sector across standalone and co-located assets from signing landmark deals and co-creating new products in the market.
Rimshah is a recognised thought leader in European energy, serving as Vice-Chair of RenewablesUK’s System and Storage Integration group and as a Future Energy Leader (FEL-100) with the World Energy Council."
Ben is a partner in Forvis Mazar's Infrastructure finance team, responsible for leading our Financial advisory and valuations service offering in the Energy and infrastructure sectors. Ben has a specific focus on EMEA transactions, whilst also working with our local teams to sign off valuations in the sector globally.
Ben has nearly 20 years of sector experience, with a strong track record of closing deals and signing off valuations for large infrastructure funds, utilities, project developers, lenders and other clients. Ben has broad experience across the social infrastructure, transport and energy sectors, with particular expertise in the renewable energy and broader energy transition space, increasingly supplemented with “core plus” infrastructure experience for funds looking to expand their investment remit.
Ben’s range of financial advisory services includes M&A lead advisory (on the buy side and sell side), equity and debt capital raising, financial structuring, transaction support and financial modelling. His valuation experience covers well over £20bn investments for large listed and unlisted debt and equity funds.
