He launched breaking news service Energy Rev in 2017, which was subsequently acquired by US-based New Project Media at the end of 2023. He now heads up NPM’s European editorial team, which provides proprietary energy transition financing and M&A coverage and tracks project development at a granular level.
Gordon Hutcheson is Deputy Director for Low Carbon RAB within Ofgem’s Major Projects Directorate, where he leads on four critical programmes shaping the UK’s low carbon infrastructure future: nuclear projects funded via the regulated asset base model, carbon capture and storage networks, hydrogen transport networks, and long duration energy storage (LDES). His work supports the acceleration of both onshore and offshore infrastructure, and the development of robust regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies. Prior to his current role, Gordon served as Head of Nuclear Policy at Ofgem, and previously worked in Ofgem's Offshore Transmission and electricity transmision teams. Gordon has also worked in management consulting at PwC, for the BBC and for Ofwat.
Tassos has 27 years of experience as a project developer, contractor, lender and investor in the energy sector. He has invested in energy (oil and gas), renewable energy (solar, wind, biomass, hydro, storage and carbon capture) and energy technology companies. His track record covers investments in the EMEA region and North and South America in excess of €10 bn closed transactions.
Chandni is responsible for overseeing the company’s legal, compliance, ESG and government affairs functions. She plays a key role in ensuring that IGP operates to the highest standards of governance, sustainability and stakeholder engagement.
She first joined IGP in 2020 as Head of Legal and then as Chief Operating Officer, roles that saw her involved in every part of the business – from collaborating with key stakeholders to securing key contracts to operations to strategy to project delivery. Rosalind was a Vice President at Fieldstone Private Capital Group between 2015 and 2020, where she focussed on transactions located in Europe and Africa. Prior to joining Fieldstone she was at Climate Change Capital for seven and a half years
She holds a BSc in Genetics from the University of Edinburgh, and was called to the Bar in 2009, after being awarded the Jules Thorn scholarship by Middle Temple
William is the CEO of Telis Energy UK, a portfolio company of Carlyle. Prior to joining Telis Energy UK, William held a number of senior leadership positions at National Grid.
Adam is a Principal in Asper’s investment team with a focus on investments into renewable generation and flexibility in Ireland and GB. Adam joined Asper in 2018 and has worked on several transactions across Asper’s district heating and power generation platforms including fundraising, acquisitions, financings and exits.
Adam holds a first class BSc and MSc in Physics from University College London, where his focus was on high energy particle theory.
David is currently Head of Portfolio Strategy in the Green Power team for Uniper but previously spent 8 years working for Akuo in Paris, latterly as Director of the Portfolio Management team. Prior to that he spent 12 years working for the EDF Group in both London and Paris in various commercial, regulatory and financial roles. He holds a law degree from Swansea University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Matthew specialises in commercial management of renewable projects. He works with leading UK developers and asset owners to optimise their routes to market and deliver attractive PPAs that align with their designated strategies. He has facilitated over 500 PPAs to date, supplying TWhs of renewable energy to utility and corporate offtakers across a variety of structures, tenors, and geographies
Rimshah Javed is a Principal Originator at a leading commodities trading firm, structuring transactions across power, gas and environmental certificates. Specialising in the power sector and battery storage, Rimshah focuses on deal-making and strategic partnerships that scale flexible, low-carbon assets.
Previously at Arenko, Rimshah led commercial expansion for route-to-market trading and software agreements, growing the portfolio to 3+ GW and launching in four new markets across mainland Europe and the United States.
Earlier in her career, Rimshah worked in corporate banking, arranging short- and long-term debt financing for the power and telecoms sectors. Rimshah is recognised by the World Energy Council as a Global Future Energy Leader.
Graham Oxley is the Chief Commercial Officer for ENGIE’s B2B Supply business in the UK. He has more than 25 years of experience in the energy industry and a detailed knowledge of the energy markets.
An economics graduate from the University of Newcastle, Graham has held a number of roles within ENGIE in both the UK and France, including Head of the ABT Trading team in Paris. He has also led the origination of power purchase agreements (PPA's) in the UK and Energy with Services divisions, prior to its sale to EQUANS.
As Chief Commercial Officer, Graham is responsible for the portfolio management activity including hedging, demand forecasting, pricing and costing, marketing and product development, strategy, flex services, and the procurement of green energy to support our ambition in the UK to be net zero by 2045.
James is a partner in Gowling WLG's energy practice. He advises clients on a wide range of complex commercial and regulatory matters in the energy sector. James has over 15 years' experience in the energy sector and has a detailed knowledge of energy sector legislation, industry codes and incentive schemes. James advises a wide spectrum of energy market participants, including market leading offtakers, major utilities, energy traders, suppliers, network owners and operators, lenders, developers and managers of industry codes.
James is an energy markets specialist whose work focuses on the power price risk management within Octopus Energy Generation's funds, which totals £7bn under management at the time of writing . Key to James' role is leading on the origination of structuring of utility and corporate PPAs as a risk management tool for Octopus Energy Generation's solar and wind farms.
Daniel leads NPM’s new product innovation as well as heading up our research and data team. Daniel joins NPM following seven years with a leading global infrastructure product and founding James Street Global, a financial media consultancy.
James Samworth is a Partner at Schroders Greencoat, a £10bn renewable infrastructure investor acquired by Schroders in 2022. James joined Schroders Greencoat in January 2019 and co-heads M&A for the business. Schroders Greencoat invests across renewable infrastructure assets, ranging from onshore and offshore wind and solar, to biomass, renewable heat and green hydrogen. James also chairs the ESG committee at Schroders Greencoat. He has 17 years of investment experience, of which the last 16 years have been focused solely on renewables.
Prior to joining Greencoat, James co-led the waste and bioenergy investment team at Foresight Group. Prior to Foresight, James worked for 10 years in the steel industry for Corus and in banking and private equity with Deutsche Bank and Lyceum Capital.
James has an MA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University and an MBA from London Business School
Siân is a Principal Associate in the London M&A and Private Equity team at Gowling WLG. Siân advises predominantly private companies on a broad range of corporate matters, including both buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions, investments, joint ventures, group reorganisations and general corporate law matters. Siân regularly advises fund managers on their equity investments as well as advising on private equity sponsored M&A transactions, including acting for private equity sponsored investee companies on implementing their buy and build M&A strategy. Siân has also acted for start-ups in connection with private fundraisings from HNW and sophisticated investors and for founders and management teams on sales to European private equity houses.

Siân's recent experience includes advising HydrogenOne Capital Growth plc, a clean hydrogen-dedicated investment fund listed on the premium segment of the London Stock Exchange's Main Market, on multiple investments, including a €24m investment in solid oxide fuel cell and stack specialist Elcogen Group plc, a £3.3m investment in a Norwegian green hydrogen developer, a £2.4m investment into a green hydrogen supply project in Germany and its participation in a €215 million Series E equity financing round by existing portfolio company Sunfire GmbH, a leading electrolyser producer.
Duncan Dale formed and led Statkraft’s origination business in the UK and Ireland since 2009. In this time the team has built the business to become the leading provider of “energy transition market” services with a 7 GW portfolio. Statkraft are the No.1 in long term renewables PPAs and No.1 in flex aggregation. In addition Statkraft sell renewable power as Corporate PPAs, shape to Suppliers and is becoming increasingly active in the green hydrogen market.
Duncan previously worked on a series of energy start-up companies and brokered energy deals across Europe. Most of his career he worked with Powergen and TXU in project development, trading and risk management. He has a degree in Chemical Engineering and a MBA.
Cameron is a Director at Four Zeros Energy, with a focus on the commercial development of green hydrogen projects across the UK. Working on the power purchase agreements, hydrogen supply and DESNZ Hydrogen business models for four shortlisted projects across HAR 1 & 2.
He has over a decade of experience focused on the development of battery storage, hydrogen, gas-peaking, district heating and electricity system stability projects. With previous roles at Intergen, Zenobe and PGGM.
Cameron holds an MSc in Energy Finance from the University of Edinburgh and M.A in Economics & International Relations from the University of Aberdeen.
Josie Armstrong is a Senior Principal in the Green Gases team at AFRY Management Consulting. With 20 years’ of experience in commodities consulting—including hydrogen, ammonia, fertilisers, metals, and energy—Josie brings deep expertise to the evolving low-carbon fuels landscape. Since joining AFRY in 2022, she has focused on hydrogen, ammonia, biomethane, and CCUS/CO₂, advising project developers, investors, financiers, and policy-makers on strategic decisions in these markets across Europe and globally.
Prior to AFRY, Josie spent 10 years at commodities consultant, CRU, running sustainability and fertilisers and chemicals consulting teams, with a focus on ammonia and green steel. Josie holds a Master’s in Chinese and Business from the University of Leeds, and an MA (Hons) in European Studies from the University of Edinburgh.
Giles Hanglin leads Apatura as CEO, shaping the future of energy and digital infrastructure across the UK. Under his leadership, the company is delivering large-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), both standalone and co-located, alongside hyperscale, AI-ready data centre projects. Each development is designed to unlock low-carbon growth and create long-term value for communities, the environment, and the wider economy.
Previously, Giles was CEO and co-founder of Cambridge Power, where he built one of the UK’s leading portfolios of distribution-connected BESS projects. Earlier in his career, he served as Director at Savills, leading solar rooftop investments for private and institutional clients. With a strong track record in securing grid capacity and delivering consented infrastructure, Giles is positioning Apatura at the forefront of the UK’s transition to clean, intelligent energy systems.
With an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial passion for sustainability, David Ring brings over 15 years’ experience in the renewable energy and start-up sectors. He is responsible for leading Greenfield’s vision, strategy, team, and growth across the UK, while also spearheading the businesses wider European expansion into the Nordics and Germany.
Ulan Harrison-Davies is a Senior Reporter at NPM, covering the European data centre sector with a particular interest in project financing, planning, development, and M&A processes, as well as industry trends. Prior to joining NPM, Ulan reported on M&A processes within the European digital infrastructure space (including data centres).
Konstantin Hartmann was appointed Managing Director EMEA of NTT Global Data Centers in 2024 and is responsible for client engagement and growth & expansion of NTT DATA’s data center business in EMEA. In previous roles Konstantin led sales, sales operations, client services, and product functions in the data center sector across Europe. Konstantin joined e-shelter (now part of the Global Data Centers division of NTT DATA Inc.) in 2017 and has more than 15 years’ experience in building client-oriented processes and structures in markets with diverse client segments and requirements.
Konstantin holds a master's degree in Management from the International School of Management in Frankfurt (Germany).
Omer is the CIO of Electric Land and is a member of the Executive Committee. He joined Electric Land in 2025 and was heavily involved in the formation of a strategic partnership with Stonepeak. Today, Omer leads on strategy and investment decisions, financing and partnerships and supporting with the firm’s continued expansion.
Omer has more than fifteen years of experience across real estate and infrastructure, advising on >?10billion of M&A, capital raising and financing transactions.
Prior to Electric Land, Omer was a Managing Director and head of real estate at Centrus where he built a niche team from scratch advising on crossover real estate and infrastructure assets. Before that he was a director in the CBRE real estate investment banking team and previously held positions at National Grid and Deloitte.
Omer received a BSc Mathematics & Economics from the London School of Economics.
Anthony joined ING in 2024 as a Director in the bank’s TMT investment banking M&A business. He has over 18 years’ investment banking experience across telecoms, digital infrastructure and technology. He has led several data centre, fibre and tower transactions across Europe. Prior to joining ING, Anthony worked in the TMT advisory teams at Houlihan Lokey, Oakley Advisory and RBS/ABN AMRO.
Will Gaskell is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal, co-leading the Energy Corporate Finance team based in London.
He has 16+ years’ experience in the renewable energy and broader energy transition sectors, covering sell-side and buy-side M&A, fundraising, and joint ventures for renewable energy developers, financial investors and large-scale utility clients, including EDF, Lightsourcebp, JP Morgan, Capital Dynamics, BP, Mitsubishi and TRIG.
He has extensive global and cross-border deal experience, advising on projects in a range of international energy markets, covering over 12GW of renewable energy projects globally, with deal sizes ranging from £10 million to £1.6 billion.
Matt Harding is an Investment Director at CVC DIF, specialising in Renewable and Energy Transition investments across the globe – with a specific focus on UK and Europe. Matt has been at CVC DIF for 6 years, having worked across Infrastructure and Renewable Energy assets, ranging from North East Link (Australia’s largest PPP) to most recently in Verdant Energy (UK ready-to-build portfolio of 700MW of UK Storage and BESS). Prior to CVC DIF, Matt worked at RBC Capital Markets in their M&A Investment Banking division.
Charlie joined Foresight Group in 2017. He is a Director in the London office and co-lead manager to FGEN, the listed environmental infrastructure fund. He has over 18 years of experience in infrastructure and renewables as an adviser, equity investor and project director, and has overseen a wide range of investments across Europe. He was previously at John Laing Group and KPMG.
Gauri is a project finance specialist and senior director in Siemen Bank’s project and structured finance team. She has more than 20 years of in-depth experience in the energy and renewables sector. She has led deal teams on a number of notable transactions in the UK and Europe ranging across all technologies from wind (onshore and offshore), solar, biomass, WtE, biogas, hydro and complimentary infrastructure including batteries and flexible generation.
She has led on a number of landmark transactions including platform financings for Ventient Energy, Octopus Energy, Greencoat Wind, NTR, LightsourceBP, JPMAM, Saeta Yield, EIP and other clients for multiple technologies to grow cross-border renewable portfolios. These transactions have involved a mix of offtake structures and project pipelines in various stages of development. Gauri is focussed on the energy transition through established technologies but also working on carbon capture and storage, hydrogen and green fuels including decarbonisation of hard to abate sectors.
Prior to joining Siemens, Gauri was Head of Energy at Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management for 3 years, having previously worked in the Project Finance at Natwest (formerly RBS) for 14 years. As a thought leader in the sector she is a regular speaker on panels and at conferences.
Jon McNair is co-editor for NPM Europe, tracking energy transition development, financing, M&A and regulatory news across the continent. He joined the business in 2021 when it was operating as Energy Rev and has been covering the renewables project finance and M&A space at various titles for the past 10 years.
