Dennis Tsesarsky is the founder and Managing Partner of Onpeak Capital. Prior to founding Onpeak Capital, Dennis headed renewable energy investment banking at Morgan Stanley, where he started his investment banking career in 2006 in the Global Power & Renewables Group. Dennis has extensive investment banking experience in the sector, having led numerous notable transactions. Dennis earned his MBA from the Yale School of Management.
Jon Berke is the managing editor of New Project Media, where he covers capital markets activity across all of the major renewable generation verticals. He has been covering alternative asset classes over the course of his 20-year career in journalism, including of infrastructure and private credit.
Vinod Mukani is the head of Infrastructure & Power financing group at Nomura. His group is a dedicated platform deploying capital in Infrastructure and Power sector ,through a broad range of tailored financing solutions. Mr. Mukani has over 20 years of finance related experience, including structuring & arranging deals in Infrastructure and Power sector, sourcing/originating investment opportunities, structuring, investing & arranging capital (debt & equity issuances, equity participations, senior secured/second-lien/mezzanine financings), full capital structure advisory, as well as advisory services to multinational corporations and development banks. Over his career he has been involved in all areas and markets related to infrastructure & power including transportation and social infrastructure, power generation, energy infrastructure, logistics and distribution, and renewable energy.
Throughout his career, Mr. Mukani has built a reputation for developing business strategies, incubating new business models/ideas, building and developing teams and being a trusted advisor & solution provider to his clients. He developed and managed profitable businesses/strategies with sustainable performance and discipline around risk taking.
Prior to joining Nomura Vinod spent 7 years at Deutsche Bank where he ran the Infrastructure & Energy group. His group focused on delivering capital solutions for his clients. His efforts on Infrastructure & energy sectors led to Deutsche Bank leadership role in the sector.
Before joining Deutsche Bank, Mr. Mukani spent 3 years at Norddeutsche Landesbank, 8 years at the Fixed Income Division of Goldman Sachs & Co in New York, 2years at Chase Manhattan Private Bank in New York. Mr. Mukani earned a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Bombay, India and an MBA from New York University
Rich is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of DispatchEnergy. Previously, Rich served as Chief Investment Officer of EDPR NA DG, where Rich led capital investment and overall market strategy for the platform’s $500M+ portfolio of operating and development assets. He has over a decade of experience developing, structuring and financing award-winning renewable power generation project financings in the United States and Europe. Before EDPR NA DG, he co-founded and co-led C2, which operated more than $300M of power generation facilities throughout the United States, from dining room table to start-up to the successful sale of a majority stake to EDPR North America in Q1 2021. Recognized for his thought leadership and subject matter expertise, Rich actively participates in conferences and was recently featured in We Took The Risk, a book on original risk-takers in the renewable energy industry. Rich holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
NPM’s senior reporter, Jillian Ward, covers the Western Region of the US. Ward keeps an eye on new projects, utility and developer news, state policies impacting renewable energy facilities, and the ongoing unfolding of a Western RTO. She also assists on the editing front for NPM’s North America utility-scale news.
