Previously to joining GPC, Mathieu reviewed, structured and executed in excess of 3,000MW of energy off-take agreements from solar, onshore and offshore wind sources as well as BESS across multiple European countries: Italy, Germany, Iberia, Great Britain, France, the Nordics and Poland.

Ivo Prokopiev Founder & CEO Renalfa Solarpro Group

Ivo Prokopiev is founder and CEO of the Vienna-based Renalfa Solarpro Group (https://www.renalfa.com/), a vertically integrated innovative clean energy and e-mobility investment company in Eastern Europe. The group was one of the pioneers in introducing long duration BESS and hybrid business models for renewables to the market in Europe.

It currently owns and operates a considerable amount of flexible generation assets and supplies more than 4.5 TWh of green energy to energy exchanges, industries and households in the four countries. Julien Mauduit (Moderator) Regional Head, Energy - CEE European Bank for Reconstruction and Development

Julien Mauduit has over 20 years of experience and has developed a strong expertise in the origination, execution and monitoring of transactions, having led a large number of landmark multi-asset class deals for a total direct investment volume of more than USD6bn and nearly USD15bn of total mobilised investments. He is currently a member of the senior management team of the EBRD’s energy practice (part of the EBRD Sustainable Infrastructure Group), heading the Bank’s operations in Central and Eastern Europe, including in the Baltics, Poland and Ukraine.


He has also been historically involved in some other key countries of the Bank such as Romania and Turkey and has also contributed to establish the Bank’s franchise in the sector in North Africa when the EBRD started its operations there in 2012. Julien is also currently the EBRD’s nominee Non-Executive Director at the supervisory board of Sunly, an Estonian-based regional renewable developer.


Prior to joining the Bank in 2009, Julien gained an extensive investment banking experience in the private sector working for HSBC mainly in the infrastructure sector on advisory, corporate/M&A and project finance mandates. He holds a MSc in Corporate Finance and International Financial Markets from Sciences Po Paris and a BAA in Finance and Management from HEC Montreal. Julien is also a CFA Charterholder.
