Andreas Augter is responsible for the financing of ECO STORs BESS-pipeline in Germany that consists of projects between 100MW to 300MW. He has worked in various functions in the energy sector since 2010. Before joining ECO STOR in 2021, Andreas worked for a flexibility provider and a management consultancy. Andreas holds a diploma in business administration from University of Bayreuth and a master’s degree in energy economics from RWTH Aachen University

I've spent over 20 years as a financial journalist developing a career revolving around different verticals in leveraged finance.

This started early on in reading and translating complex SEC filings for a global audience, then later delivering scoops in commercial real estate, casinos, distressed debt and bankrupt companies, middle market loan origination and finally on into project finance and infrastructure funds.

As the head of Inframation Americas, I am the head of multi-vertical platform delivering ground breaking scoops and analysis in infrastructure, power, energy and renewables, producing regular thematic podcasts, webinars and conferences and developing new product initiatives.

In between, I've made several trips to England as well as to Hong Kong to gain a better understanding on how these markets work globally.

Today I am managing editor of NPM, a newswire service focused on project level intelligence, research and data for renewable energy and energy transition.

Aldevinas Burokas is the CEO of GoldenPeaks Capital Trading, a commercial arm of GoldenPeaks Capital group, overseeing commercial strategies. Aldevinas brings 15 years of trading, sales and new business development experience in energy markets, with the last 7 years focusing on renewable energy markets.

Prior to joining GoldenPeaks, Aldevinas held various executive commercial roles at Green Genius, Ignitis and Alpiq.

Aldevinas holds a dual Master of Business Administration degree from Purdue and Leibniz Universities.

Before joining RGREEN INVEST in 2022, Jacques worked for over 11 years in IFC’s Infrastructure Practice Group, including in the Global Equity Division as an investment professional and team leader for the development, execution and management of complex equity and mezzanine investments. He was also part of a group of experienced infrastructure investment professionals focusing on innovation. Specializing in infrastructure across the energy value chain, and with extensive expertise in new deal development, execution, and asset management, particularly in emerging markets, Jacques has honed his understanding of the entire capital structure and has mastered the investment process from acquisition through due diligence and execution to exit in equity and debt strategies. Jacques is a graduate of Emory University in the United States and holds a BA in Economics and an Executive MBA from Koc University in Turkey.

Nadine Gelke joined CBRE as Head of Data Centre Germany in October 2024, bringing over 15 years of extensive real estate experience. She leads strategic acquisition and sourcing for data center opportunities across Germany, supporting clients in navigating this dynamic asset class. Previously, Nadine held leadership roles at Barings GmbH and LaSalle Investment, where she managed acquisitions, market entries, and business development across Germany and Europe. Her career includes diverse positions in transaction and portfolio management at prominent firms like Deka Immobilien and Corpus Sireo Asset Management. A graduate of Bauhaus University Weimar in Management [Construction, Real Estate, Infrastructure], Nadine is also trained in digital transformation and energy efficiency consulting. 

Julia joined Octopus Energy Generation in 2019. She is an Investment Director, leads origination and execution of development partnerships and co-manages Octopus Energy Development Partnership (OEDP), a €226m fund focused on investing into the development stage of renewables. Prior to Octopus, Julia worked at Platina Partners, a private equity firm, where she invested in renewables assets across Europe and first-hand developed greenfield solar projects in Cyprus. Julia holds a degree in Finance from London Business School.

Ulan Harrison-Davies is a Senior Reporter at NPM, covering the European data centre sector with a particular interest in project financing, planning, development, and M&A processes, as well as industry trends. Prior to joining NPM, Ulan reported on M&A processes within the European digital infrastructure space (including data centres).

Niklas is one of the Co-Founders and Managing Directors of EEF. He is responsible for all m&a-activities, energy management, and corporate and project finance. Prior to EEF, Niklas was Head of Investments Germany for a Spanish renewable energy fund, focusing on the acquisition and development of repowering and greenfield projects in various stages. Previously he gained experience at PWC and KPMG and a mid-cap private equity fund. Niklas works in the renewable energy industry since 2008 and previously completed his business degrees in Berlin, Reutlingen and Edinburgh. 

Philipp is the founder of GreenCap. He spent the major portion of his business career in investment banking with focus on the renewable energy sector. Prior to founding GreenCap, Philipp was a director at renewable energy focused investment bank Augusta & Co. Previously, he worked as Vice President in the Energy Investments team of J.P. Morgan. He also serves as chairman of the non-profit organisation WikiRate which he founded in 2010. Philipp is a CFA Charter holder and speaks German, English and French.

Amani Joas is one of the founders and managing directors at FlexPower. Prior to his role at FlexPower he gained extensive experience in energy trading: He helped build up trading at Next Kraftwerke as a short-term trader, developed short-term trading at Priogen in Amsterdam as a senior trader and was lead trader in short-term power trading at E.ON

Amrei has a background of 15 years in renewables, with a strong focus on onshore wind and solar. After having completed her economic degree, she started with Project Finance and later Project Management at a medium-sized project developer. Back in Hamburg, Amrei has spent almost a decade at the renewables team of PwC, advising all types of different players in the renewables’ industry, in particular on transaction processes and on any strategic and commercial questions. For the past five years, Amrei has been back on the developer’s side of the industry and since 2023 Amrei is leading Orsted’s Business Development and M&A activities for onshore wind, solar and storage in Germany.

Kashif Khan is a Director in the Private Infrastructure and Project Finance group for MetLife Private Capital Investors and is responsible for the origination and execution of new transactions, as well as the ongoing management of existing investments. Mr. Khan joined MetLife in 2015.

Mr. Khan has over 13 years of experience in advisory and investing in infrastructure debt.

Prior to joining MetLife, Mr. Khan was with Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) in its Infrastructure Debt Advisory team. During his time at RBS, Mr. Khan also completed placements in Risk Management Advisory and Energy & Resources Corporate Finance.

Mr. Khan is a graduate of King’s College London where he earned a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and is a CFA charterholder.

Georg is a Senior Transaction Manager at RWE and responsible for investments, divestments and partnerships in the German market for onshore wind, solar PV and battery storage. Prior to joining RWE, he was mainly active on the buyside acquiring renewable energy projects in Europe for Encavis AG and the Hamburg-based infrastructure asset manager Luxcara. Georg holds a master’s degree in banking and finance of the University of St. Gallen and speaks German, English and Czech.

Kilian Leykam is leading Aquila Clean Energy’s storage investments in the EMEA region and developing a portfolio of >7GW BESS projects across 9 countries. He has worked in the renewable energy sector since 2009. Before joining Aquila Group in 2020, Kilian was leading strategy and business development at Vattenfall’s Trading Unit. Kilian holds a bachelor’s degree in international affairs and a master’s degree in economics from the University of St. Gallen

Jon McNair is co-editor for NPM Europe, tracking energy transition development, financing, M&A and regulatory news across the continent. He joined the business in 2021 when it was operating as Energy Rev and has been covering the renewables project finance and M&A space at various titles for the past 10 years. 

Stefan Müller, COO and shareholder of ENERPARC is responsible for sales activities, international business, marketing and business development. He began his career, which goes back over 20 years, in the solar industry in 1992 at a renowned solar company in Germany. During the last eight years before his departure to be an entrepreneur, Stefan Müller held international management positions and lived, among other countries, in India, Spain and Singapore. Stefan has a global network in the solar industry and his expertise makes him a sought-after speaker for conferences and panels.

Maria is an experienced leader in the energy industry with over a decade of expertise, specializing in the European energy markets. A double graduate of Bocconi University, her career includes key roles at Magnus Commodities, Nexus Energía, and Renantis SpA, where she advanced renewable energy initiatives and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs). Currently, as Head of Southern Europe Origination at Nadara, Maria leads the strategy to expand the company’s renewable energy portfolio while driving sustainable energy solutions.

Amanda has over 10 years of experience as an energy consultant, energy analyst and economist with expertise in power markets and trading strategies for new energy types in Australia, Europe and the US. Amanda provided power market and energy risk management training to over 100 energy stakeholders throughout Europe, Australia and Asia.

Amanda joined Ingrid Capacity to build the commercial steer of the business. Amanda has worked previously at BKW, a Swiss Utility, to build the PPA business across Europe. Previously, Amanda also worked for Pexapark as a Senior consultant specialised in commercial energy risk management. 

PETER POHLSCHRÖDER is a proven expert in the development of datacenter projects. He serves as Director and Co-Head Digital Infrastructure of private bank Hauck AufhäuserLampe and Managing Director of HAL DataCenter Development. He further acts as Vice Chairman of the German Datacenter Association. In his previous role, he founded and managed NDC-GARBE, spearheading GARBE Group’sdatacenter development activities for 6 years. During this period, NDC-GARBE successfully developed datacenter capacities for Hyperscalers in Germany and surrounding European countries.After almost 20 years of market-relevant experience, Peter brings a wealth of real estate expertise to the table, encompassing investment, management as well as development of commercial assets and mission-critical infrastructure.Holding management positions for several real estate investment platforms, he gained comprehensive economical, fiscal and technical know-how.

Mikko leads the customer business of terralayr’s flexibility platform. He previously held roles at Siemens Gamesa, as a strategy consultant in BCG’s Energy Practice, and as an investor at Picus Capital, focusing on energy and infrastructure tech. With his cross-functional expertise in market design, risk, and commercialisation, he bridges technical and commercial perspectives in the energy asset sector.

Kirill Ryzhov is an Originator at EnBW, Trading and Asset Management, specializing in structured energy products, portfolio and risk management. With experience across European markets, he focuses on developing tradeable green products and solutions for utilities, industrials in Germany. These transactions are structured from both EnBW’s renewable portfolio and large portfolio of third-party assets. Kirill holds a master’s degree in Quantitative Finance from the University of Sussex Business School

Diana Saldarriaga is the Co-Head of Origination Project & Structured Finance Europe at Siemens Bank, based in Munich. Diana has been with Siemens Bank for 10 years.  Before joining Siemens, Diana held key positions at Macquarie Group and KfW IPEX-Bank, where she gained extensive experience in mining equipment finance and financing large-scale infrastructure projects globally.

Based in Heidelberg, Germany, W Power Storage operates a vertically integrated platform that covers land acquisition, permitting, engineering, construction, and operation of large-scale battery energy storage systems. The Company has built a multi-gigawatt pipeline in Germany and aims to become a leading IFP.

Max is a Director in JLL’s Energy & Infrastructure Advisory team where he leads on energy storage transactions. Within European BESS, Max has advised on the nearly £4bn of transactions totalling 7GW across over 40 transactions, including divestment of some of the world’s largest BESS projects and the largest operational BESS disposal in Europe. 

Imre VASS is a Partner at Our New Energy and heading the DACH and Central European activities of the company  (incl. Netherlands, Hungary, and Romania). His focus is on PPA transaction and strategic advisory as well as hedge advisory, but he is also dealing with P2X commercialization and further energy market-related advisory services around sustainability and net zero solutions. Before joining Our New Energy in 2023, Imre has gained a significant experience at major German utilities (E.ON and Uniper) in different finance and commercial functions over more than 16 years. For more than 7 years, Imre worked as Lead Originator at Uniper, with responsibility for negotiating renewable PPAs and structured energy transactions across various European markets.
